CT MADISON — Madison's Advisory Committee on Community Appearance approved six applications at its August 18 special meeting, including an 18-unit residential cluster on Mill Road. The board voted 3-0-1 (with Ron Zollshan abstaining) to approve the Mill Road development by SWPG River Road LLC, featuring shingle-style architecture with mixed siding and white trim. The committee recommended eliminating one or two units to improve design flexibility and reduce density.
In separate unanimous votes, the committee approved a four-unit apartment building at 397 Durham Road, EV chargers at 1321 Boston Post Road, porch modifications at 908 Boston Post Road, and two town-funded downtown pedestrian improvement projects.
