Affordable Housing Committee · Meeting of September 16, 2026
CT MADISON — Madison Affordable Housing Committee unanimously backed a revised Affordable Housing Trust Fund draft. Chair Michael Kaminsky presented the new version, designed to finance the fund without excessively burdening the tax base; Selectwoman Jen Gordon suggested discussing tax-deductible contributions with the Madison Foundation. The committee directed the draft to the Town Planner and First Selectwoman for review ahead of Board of Selectmen consideration.
The panel also discussed a proposed 18-unit market-rate cluster housing development on Mill and River Road, which would increase housing stock but not address affordability.
