Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency · Meeting of April 6, 2026
CT MADISON — Madison Inland Wetlands Agency approved two regulated activity permits at its April 6 meeting. The Agency voted to permit a Town of Madison project on Scotland Avenue, a 2,500-linear-foot roadway improvement creating pedestrian connectivity and improving drainage despite 135 square feet of permanent wetland impact; the Agency determined the impact does not constitute significant activity based on regulatory criteria and past precedent. The Agency also approved a permit for Stephan Wexell to construct a retaining wall at 12 Deer Creek Drive, with conditions requiring erosion controls and habitat restoration.
