CT MADISON — The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee received the final master plan and agreed to develop metrics tracking approximately 90 proposed projects, with members Dan Buckley and John Lamirande creating a public-facing dashboard showing accomplishments. Rob Russo, the town's infrastructure coordinator, cautioned that public communications should include disclaimers since many projects remain conceptual and require further engineering. The Green Hill Road sidewalk project advances to the June 9 Board of Selectmen meeting; the town will apply for LOTCIP funding providing 100 percent state support with approximately 50,000 to 60,000 dollars in additional engineering needed.

The committee also agreed to organize community walks, prioritize e-bike education following Connecticut's fall 2025 regulations, and explore alternatives to the Bike and Walk to School event, which cannot continue in its current form.
