CT MADISON — Madison Bicycle Committee planned a May 20 Bike and Walk to School Day at Jeffrey School. Jes Joseff reported the microgrant application has been verbally approved and awaits Board of Selectmen formal approval for bicycle repair stations and safety equipment. The committee identified gaps between the approved Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan and current town construction projects, with Dennis Durante proposing a metric to track implementation.
The committee agreed to staff a table at the Madison Lions Club tag sale on June 6 to collect contact information from residents interested in bike and pedestrian safety.
