CT MADISON — Madison Planning and Zoning Commission continued a public hearing on a 14-unit cluster housing development to November 5, 2026. The Mill Road project, reduced from an original 18 units, drew debate from Commissioners John Dusza and John Morgan over site design and parking, though Commissioner Robert O'Connor called the housing type important for town diversity. Chair Carol Snow requested written assessment from the town Health Director on revised septic and stormwater systems before rendering a decision.
Applicant engineer Michael Ott rebutted neighbors' environmental concerns, confirming compliance with state regulations. Some neighbors, including resident Marty Gaffey, expressed support for the revised proposal.
