CT MADISON — Madison's bicentennial steering committee outlined multiple events for the town's 200th anniversary. Chair Rosalyn Cama called the special meeting with members Ryan Duques, Matthew Bloom, and Down Jackson present. The committee scheduled a 1776 screening for October 29 from 4:30 to 7:30 pm at Scranton Library, with a Ken Burns American Revolution documentary possibly scheduled for January 2027.

Joan Singleton and Ralph Singleton presented the narrative for the bicentennial film "A Love Letter to Madison," featuring interviews, historical images, and drone footage. The committee is seeking a $500 sponsor for an October 24 Union District children's event. Cama and Jackson will coordinate an early-to-mid-November volunteer appreciation event to thank bicentennial contributors.
