CT MADISON — Madison Conservation Commission coordinates zoning input and environmental funding. Members set the second Monday in March as a target date to seek Board of Selectmen support for natural resource inventory funding, with Heather Crawford coordinating. The town has completed an initial draft of zoning regulation revisions; the commission will review further drafts.
Educational initiatives include a cooperative program with Mad for Trees, with Fran Brady participating, and dark skies lighting transitions. Aubri Barone from the Hand Eco Club at Daniel Hand High School will develop educational posters and scavenger hunts tied to expanded school pollinator gardens.
