Emergency Operations Center - Firehouse Expansion Building Committee · Meeting of October 8, 2026
CT MADISON — The committee reviewed emergency operations center project construction progress on October 8. Director of Construction/Planning Ben Whittaker reported that three items remained before Certificate of Occupancy: a roof deck handrail due by week's end, septic leach field finalization due the next day, and the front apron. Major systems including the elevator, fire alarm, and sprinkler systems were operational, with final sign-off expected that day.
Munger Construction was scheduled to have the server room professionally cleaned October 13, and the committee agreed to carry the red floor color into the lower restroom instead of tile.
