Facilities Committee (Ad Hoc) · Meeting of January 15, 2026

CT MADISON — The Facilities Committee created a sub-committee to evaluate Expressions of Interest for the Academy building's future use as it advances its broader Master Plan work. The committee heard a presentation on a $9.8 million Public Works expansion project consolidating DPW and Grounds operations at the Fort Path Road site, expanding the facility from 10,000 to 26,563 square feet. It received updates on feasibility studies for Memorial Town Hall and Jeffrey-Ryerson schools and discussed the Land Use Study, prioritizing four properties for further infrastructure review.

The committee identified current and old Train Station sites as potential opportunities for workforce and affordable housing development. It voted unanimously to approve $19,350 in invoices from Antinozzi Associates and TPA.
