CT MADISON — Polson and Hand HVAC Committee approved a $16,487 generator pad expansion and authorized $651,097 in project invoices as construction work continued on schedule. Emily Rosenthal and Galen Cawley voted unanimously on the revised pad (ATP-0007) after manufacturers required 50 to 60 percent more space than originally designed; approved invoices included BL Companies ($32,500), Gilbane Building Company ($613,297.53), Sustainable Engineering Solutions ($1,000), and Langan ($4,299.65) for ongoing construction administration and services. A manufacturer error pushed generator delivery from June to September, but installation will proceed without service interruption.
The gymnasium transitions to Gilbane control on May 11, and the school closes completely over summer with parking remaining available for public sporting events.
