Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency · Meeting of August 3, 2026
CT MADISON — The Inland Wetlands Agency approved a subdivision and invasive species removal. Acting Chair Joseph Budrow presided in the absence of Chair L. Kealoha Friedenburg; Commissioners Lee Schumacher and Anna Loss approved the Ponzo Trustee re-subdivision at 19 Advent Hill Road, which creates two parcels with shared road access to avoid wetland crossings.
The Agency also approved phragmites removal at 353 Boston Post Road (Kelking LLC) with pre- and post-removal inspections by staff. Four other applications were deferred: a shed application was tabled due to applicant non-appearance, two were tabled to September 14, and a maintenance dredging project on the Hammonasset River was scheduled for public hearing September 14, likely requiring state and federal coordination.
