CT MADISON — Madison's Inland Wetlands Agency continued its review of an application for 61 Lantern Hill Road and directed the applicants to submit a revised site plan showing specific elevations and fill calculations. The project by owners Christopher L. and Susan M. Pesce involves extending a maintained lawn to 45 feet from the wetland edge through regrading and topsoil addition.
Chair L. Kealoha Friedenburg expressed concern about lawn encroachment; member Lee Schumacher requested permanent boundary markers. The agency also noted two agent-approved applications by Maria Pettola, Coastal Zone Enforcement Officer: a replacement storage shed at 9 Britton Lane and an in-ground pool at 53 Madison Avenue, situated 85 feet from wetlands.
