Conservation · Meeting of May 27, 2026

CT MADISON — Madison Conservation Commission approves Richard Talentino's membership and tabled prior minutes while planning an expanded 2027 Green-up Clean Up campaign. The commission approved April meeting minutes with amendment and scheduled a special June 10 meeting at 7:30 p.m. to review Surf Club plans. Members discussed strategies to boost cleanup participation including earlier promotion, sports team partnerships, and a potential September International Coastal Cleanup event.

The group also aims to strengthen its input on town land-use policy by developing a philosophical statement on maintaining Madison's character and meeting with Planning and Zoning Commission member Carol Snow to discuss zoning regulations.
