CT MADISON — The Planning and Zoning Commission approved a downtown renovation project and deferred a contested land-division hearing. The Commission unanimously approved a major alteration at 875 Boston Post Road involving a privacy fence, gate, and landscaping, effective January 29. A re-subdivision application for Bushnell Lane seeking to legalize a 1957 property division drew extensive public opposition from neighbors concerned about crowding and property values.

Chair Carol Snow requested time for further analysis, and the Commission voted unanimously to continue the hearing to February 5. A separate pending application for Temple Beth Tikvah was tabled to the same date.
