CT MADISON — Madison Planning and Zoning Commission approved three applications in a single night. The commission voted unanimously 8-0-0 to approve a four-unit apartment building at 397 Durham Road, with an effective date of September 3, 2026, incorporating Architectural Conservation Commission recommendations on facade materials and colors. Two Boston Post Road projects also won unanimous approval on the same effective date: the Madison Center Project Phase 3, continuing downtown pedestrian and landscape improvements two-thirds complete, and a pedestrian improvement project covering sidewalks and crosswalks along Boston Post Road, Britton Lane, and West Wharf Road, with construction expected spring 2027 pending Connecticut Department of Transportation approval.
