Board of Selectmen · Meeting of January 13, 2026
CT MADISON — Madison Selectmen approved $68,100 for emergency Surf Club repairs. The Board voted unanimously on three related motions—a special appropriation, bid waiver, and contract award to Suchocki & Son, Inc.—following December 19 storm damage that produced waves exceeding volleyball courts and caused significant seawall erosion. Town Engineer Rob Russo recommended temporary stabilization using stone and reinforcing materials while determining a long-term solution.
In separate action, the Board voted 4-1 to award $177,051.72 to M.E. O'Brien for playground equipment at Brown Elementary School, with Selectman Wilson voting no.
