Tree Advisory Committee · Meeting of March 14, 2026

CT MADISON — The Tree Advisory Committee held a special tree identification walk at Bauer Park on March 14, 2026. Robert Kuchta, former Madison Tree Warden and Inland Wetlands officer, guided committee members and residents in identifying tree species, teaching them to distinguish specimens by bark texture, leaf shape, branching patterns, and growth location. Committee members present included Samantha Pullaro, Terry VandenDolder, Francis Brady, Tom Cleveland, and Stephen Lowrey, who was noted as the new MLCT representative.

David Clark and Al Gross were absent. The committee plans to schedule a second tree identification walk at Town Green in spring when foliage is visible.
