CT MADISON — The Tree Advisory Committee met with Eversource's vegetation management team on March 6 to discuss the company's four-year tree maintenance and removal cycle on town right-of-way lines. TAC requested historical performance scorecards for the past ten years and annual tree removal data showing species and trunk diameter; Eversource agreed to provide future scorecards but said detailed historical data is no longer provided publicly, though higher-level information is available. The committee also requested access to Eversource's tree removal hotline at 844-275-3302 or treeCT@eversource.com, and Eversource offered future collaboration on tree planting and community programs.
TAC indicated it will seek participation in Eversource's annual planning review process, which currently requires town Tree Warden sign-off on work.
