CT MADISON — Madison selectmen heard two Academy redevelopment pitches. Refined Living's Robert Letskus offered $1 million and proposed deed-restricted workforce housing, a performing arts center, seasonal rooftop restaurant, and marketplace while preserving ballfields. Stowed LLC, led by Ashley Rocho-Rinere, proposed a 62-room luxury hotel with branded residences, full-service restaurant, spa, rooftop bar, and event space, plus a large addition.
Neither required town funds. Fifteen residents spoke during public comment, citing concerns about parking, character preservation, ballfield loss, and revenue generation. First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons said the board would review next steps at a future meeting.
